My journey began when I studied baking and pastry arts in Taiwan, immersing myself in the rich traditions and techniques of Taiwanese desserts. I returned to Indonesia with a dream to bring those unique tastes closer to home. But, what is uniquely Taiwanese, yet still relatable to Indonesia?
“TanTa” – just like the meaning of word – is the “tasty answer”. It blends Indonesia’s cherished pineapple filling with Taiwan’s delicate pastry-making. Every bite tells a story of craftsmanship, passion, and the blending of cultures. “TanTa” is also a combination of my parents’ names, honoring the love and support that made this journey possible.
